Hi! I am the lead person at YYC Beeswax (YYC Wax for short) and I was asked to give a bit of background about the company. I am a HUGE crafter and came across rolled beeswax candles a few years ago when volunteering. They are simple to make and look lovely, so I thought I would try sourcing my own wax sheets. Needless to say, it was a difficult task and when I discovered other crafters in the same situation, I decided to find a way to make the wax sheets available locally. YYC Beeswax is a Calgary-based company which sells beeswax sheets and kits for crafters as well as ready-made candles for those who appreciate their beauty and lip balms with a beeswax base for those cold, dry winters (or all year!). We're looking forward to a grand opening at the end of November 2014 although some products are already available.
